Originating in New Zealand this gala is distinguished by particularly early red coloring throughout the tree, and have a distinctive appearance of predominantly bright red color and flecks of ground color overlain by a bold darker red stripe pattern that extends over the entire fruit. Firm apple with a tender and crisp texture on the inside. Juicy and sweet apple that colours early and is consistent throughtout all crops. Reliable, good producer.
